Prospecting
Prospect new clients and introduce yourself! In special occasions, Green House will provide a sales deck that you can use to prospect—keep an eye on the External Sales channel on Teams to take advantage of these opportunities!
First Presentation Scheduled
Follow this article to create a Company, Contact, and dDal on HubSpot. In doing so, a task will automatically be generated for Green House to create a sales presentation.
A link to the presentation will be added to the Deal record within 48 hours by Green House. If your meeting is in less than 48 hours, contact Professor Johnson or use the Green House External Sales channel on Teams to expedite the creation of the presentation.
First Presentation Held
Add high-level notes from your conversation with the client to the Deal record on HubSpot.
Verbal No
- Move the card on your Deal Pipeline to Closed Lost
- Enter the loss reason
- Move on to someone else!
Verbal Yes - Introduction Call
Follow the steps below to schedule an Introduction Call and send an agreement.
- Schedule an Introduction Call between the client and Green House (complete during the presentation meeting)

- Click here to access our sales representative’s Bookings site
- Click Continue as Guest and work with the client to find the right time slot
- When prompted, enter your name and UVU email address
- Please include the following in the Notes field
- Company name
- Contact person name
- Contact person email
- Click Email Verification Code
- Enter the email verification code from your UVU email
- Click Schedule

- Inform the client that they will be receiving an email from team@greenhouseuvu.com via Signaturely to review the agreement—they will have the chance to ask questions about the agreement during the Introduction Call with Green House prior to signing
- Send agreement (the rest of the steps can be completed after the call)

- Login using the following credentials:
- UN: team@thegreenhouseuvu.com
- PW: QcaLSKGO7
- Select Sign from the menu on the left
- Under the Choose Template dropdown menu, select the appropriate template based on the payment agreement with the client
- Add your name and email address as Sales Representative
- Add the client’s name and email address as Client
- Select Send Document
- Enter “[Company Name] + Green House” for Document Title
- Leave the message box empty
- Leave the expiration date empty
- Move the Deal card on your Deal Pipeline to Intro Call Scheduled
- Go to the Deal record on HubSpot and add the Intro Call Date/Time information in the respective field on the left side under Meeting Information
- Client signs the document—Once the client has signed, you, the client, and GH will received a signed copy
To Cover in the Introduction Call
- Best & all contact information for the client, best form of contact
- Other individuals/contact information to be included in the project
- Overview of key needs/hot topics
- Review Payment Details outlined at the bottom of their agreement, and notify the client that the project manager will reach out to schedule a Kickoff Meeting once payment has been received
Final Signs of the Close
Follow up with the client until (1) an agreement has been signed and (2) payment has been received. You will get a copy of the signed agreement once they have signed. GH will send confirmation of payment once received and will reach out to the client to schedule the Kickoff Meeting.
