How to add a new hire to the Canvas course for onboarding

Add new hires to the onboarding Canvas course.

1. Send a MS Teams message to Karen Arteaga, Director of Teaching and Learning Support. Provide the following information for each hire:

  • Names (First and Last)
  • Student ID

2. Example of email:

Hello Karen! We have our first cohort of students for the Green House Onboarding course on Canvas. Please add the following students as students in the course:

Aidan Walsh (10838689)

Abigail Menjivar (10876886)

Seth Kelson (11030175)

3. Send an email to each new hire to notify them that they have been added to the course.
