Generate your own leads for Green House by creating a cold email campaign from start to finish.
- Log into Instantly.ai and click CAMPAIGNS, then ADD NEW
- Name your campaign your team name and the month you launch it
2. Import Leads
- Each team will be emailing a list of 500 contacts.
- To build your email list, you can test out one of the lead gen tools Priz has purchased for us to use on the Resources doc. While there is login information for each, there isn’t instructions on how to use them, but that’s part of the fun!
- If you are boring, you can also use one of the lists Jake has purchased, which can be found in the Cold Email Lists folder. When using these, make sure to only upload 500 contacts at a time, and mark the ones you upload in case another team uses the same sheet later.
- When uploading leads, only import relevant information that you plan on using in your campaign (First name, last name, business name, etc).
3. Draft Your Campaign & Build out a Sequence
- Follow the suggestions in this blog and draft your first cold email by adding a strong subject line and a short but direct email, no longer than 7-8 sentences.
- Click ADD STEP to build your follow up sequence. The follow up email should hit on the same points as the initial email, but presented in a new way.
- Try to keep the campaign to 2-3 steps, within a 7-10 day span. Ideally, your whole email campaign should be finished by the end of the month so you can track results vs other groups.
4. Launch, Track and Adjust the Campaign as Needed.
- Once you have finished drafting your campaign, launch it!
- Emails will start sending immediately. From that point, someone on the team should monitor your campaign, respond to any inquiries, and track key metrics like deliverability and open rate.
- If you are not seeing any success after the first week or two, meet as a team and decide what needs to be adjusted: Subject lines, frequency of email, or maybe a whole new list to target. Don’t assume you are done after you first push launch.
