Using ChatGPT to write the content
Start by nailing down the primary keywords and purpose of the content. Once you have 1-3 focus keywords, follow these steps:
- Log in to ChatGPT
- Submit the first prompt:
Give me 10 example titles of a blog about [keywords] - Submit the second prompt:
Write a [1500] word blog post for [company type] targeting [audience and/or area] that includes [KW1], [KW2], [KW3], with the following structure: <H1> [insert title] <H2> [first section topic] <H2> [second section topic] <H2> [third section topic]Ex. Write a 1500 word blog post for a hardwood flooring company targeting people looking to refinish their floorings that includes hardwood floor refinishing, cost to refinish hardwood floors, and floor refinishing quote as keywords with the following structure: <H1> Comparing Quotes: How to Get the Best Deal on Hardwood Floor Refinishing <H2> Finding a Reputable Company <H2> Preparing your Home for Quotes <H2> Comparing Price and Value of Services
Setting up the Website Content Template
Once you have the content, you are going to set up the Website Content Template:
- Go to the Client's folder on Google Drive
- Go to the SEO folder
- Select + New
- Select the > next to Google Docs
- Select From a template
- Select Website Content Template
- Rename the document to the title of the content piece
- Fill out the top information before the actual content, and hold on copying the content to this document for now
Using MarketMuse to optimize the content
Once you have used ChatGPT to write the content and you have started your Website Content Template, you will use MarketMuse to help optimize the content:
- Go to MarketMuse
- Use the login credentials from the Resources Sheet to log in
- Enter the topic and URL and select Run/Fetch
- Copy the content from ChatGPT, and past the text, select Run/Fetch
- Adapt the content to optimize based on MarketMuse feedback
- Once your content is optimized, copy the content to the Website Content Template and be sure to add internal links to the client's site where it makes sense
Updating the content on the site
If you have access and the client has given permission to do so, update the content on the site (or post the blog).
