How to Record a Training Video (or explanation to send to team/client)

How to record and share videos via MS Teams.

Here is a step-by-step on how to create a training. 

1. Schedule a meeting with yourself on teams 

2. Join the meeting, click on the 3 dots icon and start recording the meeting. 

3. Do your training & Share your screen if necessary for the training. 

4. Stop the Recording

5. Go to your teams chat and click on "view recap" from your meeting 

6. This will open a new window for you, Click on the "Go to Streams" button in the top right hand corner. 

7. Within streams you can make edits to your video. 

8. From there you can either download your video or just share the link (make sure you give the right permissions if you are sharing the video).

If you are using it as a training video you can upload it to the Knowledge Base. You can do this by clicking "Share" in sharepoint and copying the "embed code" or you can get the share link and add that to the KB article.
