# How to update your working hours

## Update your working hours via MS Outlook/Teams.

1. Go to outlook.office.com
2. Log in using your UVU credentials
3. Click on the gear icon at the top right to go to Settings
4. Select **Work hours and location**
5. Update your hours to reflect your time in Green House
6. Click **Save**
7. Exit settings
8. Add events to your calendar to block out time that you will ***not*** be in Green House within the 8am-5pm window 
     1. When creating the event, select **More options** to open the full editing window
     2. From the dropdown under **Busy**, select **Away**
     3. Utilize the dropdown under **Don't repeat** for recurring events
     4. Select **Save**

9\. **\*Update\***

Green House cannot easily see your working hours when set as previously instructed. So, in addition to those steps (1-8), be sure to set recurring events whenever **you are not working, Monday-Friday 9:00-5:30.** Be sure to select the "Out of office" option so that when people try to schedule meetings with you, they can see you are not available.
