# Pre-Keyword Research overview

## An overview of pre-keyword research.

*THIS IS A GROUP TASK.*

As a team, run pre-keyword research for your client. This includes getting a better understand of their area of focus, their competitors, what services they consider themselves experts on, and where they are currently lacking. This process will help you understand your client and how to build a viable SEO strategy for them!

Complete all 4 sections of the pre-keyword worksheet and then you will be set to move into the actual keyword research and strategy build. There are additional instructions & videos attached to each subtask within this section.

This task cannot be checked complete until you have gotten Jake's approval on your workdoc.
