Prepare your team and client for the Core Messaging Meeting.
The purpose of this call is to really dive into understanding the Brand and their business so we can have a strategic plan moving forward.
The client should have received the NEW Client Questionnaire in the follow up meeting of the first call. I recommend sending them a reminder two days before the call so that they can remember to fill it out.
- Make sure the client has received the New Client Questionnaire form with instructions to fill out before the call. Ask them to fill it out by a certain day (24 hours before call) so that you give yourself enough time to review the questionnaire before the call.
- Schedule a15 min window right after your call with your team to review the call and summarize the notes from your call. Make sure to use Client Notes Template.

DO IT: Before the Call
- Review the New Client Survey Response (Go to Forms>New Client Questionnaire > Responses)
- Identify areas to ask clarifying questions. Where do you need more information? Be curious about the client. Take their answers and your own research you did for the kick off call and compile them together. Is there areas that YOU need to do more research to better understand the client?
After the call you will be creating a CLIENT CORE MESSAGING DOC This document is so that when anyone new jumps on this client project they clearly understand the client (who they are, what they do, who their target market is, etc.)
TIP: If the client doesn’t fill out the form, don’t sweat! Simply go through the questions on the call with them and take good notes to make sure you get the info you need. It's ideal if they do it before and please make plans to remind them to fill it out.
