Complete Social Media Audit

  • Part 1 - Brand Audit (team member 1)
  • Part 2 - Competitive Analysis (team member 2)
  • Part 3 - Strategy & Plan (team members 1 + 2)
  • Make sure you both are using the Checklist and References tab within the audit.

Part 1 - Brand Audit

1. Review platforms - Which platforms are they currently using? What is their brand doing well and what needs fixed?
2. Review content - What content are they currently putting out there on social? Is the audience engaging with it?
3. Brand audit - Identify the current engagement rate of the platforms they're currently using. Is it good? Are their other platforms that they should consider?

4. Who is their Target Audience? Are they on the right platforms to reach their target audience?

Part 2 - Competitor Analysis

1. Find competitors and complete analysis - Select three competitors (ASK CLIENT) and run basic social audits on them. What are they doing really well that the client is not?

2. Find gap and positioning opportunities (When you are reviewing content take note of content examples (links to content in Notes Section) from competitors that you think they are doing well & your client could incorporate.)

Part 3 - Strategy & Plan

1. Develop a brand voice, identity, purpose, and industry hashtags - ASK CLIENT IF THEY HAVE A STYLE GUIDE OR BRAND GUIDELINES FIRST. What does their brand represent?
2. Content, calendar, and metrics planned
